Calculated Sitemap Priority and Page Importance Values
Our sitemap creator will calculate and assign page priority values based on internal linking and link juice flow in a website.

Page importance is calculated based on how internal link juice flows in your website.
Together with other page details you can view and override these values:
If you need to more easily view and sort importance values for all URLs, see the link juice and importance in-depth help page for A1 Website Analyzer.
Remember that when viewing all the website URLs, you can switch between tree view and list view. You can find the setting in menu Menu | Data view.
The importance values are also used when calculating the priority values in XML sitemaps. You can read more about XML sitemaps priority values and how A1 Sitemap Generator calculates them in our in-depth XML sitemaps priority tag article.
If you are not satisfied with how the priority values are generated, you can override and even remove all priority values when building the XML sitemap:
To remove priority values, check Override priority and set Override calculated values to a minus value.
