Calculated Priority and Importance Values in Sitemap Creator

When creating XML sitemaps, our sitemap creator tool will assign correct priorities to all URLs based on calculated importance using internal linking website data. Importance values are used when calculating XML sitemap priority values for URLs.

 To see all the options available, you will have to switch off easy mode 

 With options that use a dropdown list, any [+] or [-] button next to adds or removes items in the list itself 

Internal Website Linking and Link Juice Flow

Page importance is calculated based on how internal link juice flows in your website.

Remember that when viewing all the website URLs, you can switch between tree view and list view. You can find the setting in menu Menu | Data view.

If you are not satisfied with how the priority values are generated, you can override and even remove all priority values when building the XML sitemap:

To remove priority values, check Override priority and set Override calculated values to a minus value.
