Billing, VAT and Invoice Information

Details about buying from a reseller which also handles processing of payments:

• VAT is shown and handled automatically during the ordering and checkout process.
• FastSpring is not located in Denmark. VAT is therefore not Danish. Same goes for earluer solutions like Plimus and eSellerate.

All US companies are obligated to collect on behalf of the EU on electronically supplied services to consumers:

• There is a special VAT registration scheme for non-EU businesses, so a US company gets a VAT ID for EU which is visible on the invoice.
• EU businesses with a valid VAT ID are exempt. To ensure you are exempt, enter a valid VAT ID during the order process.

Note: If you need an invoice before payment, please choose the Purchase Order option. This will generate an order in the system, so you can receive an invoice before paying.

• Your initial thank you order email also contains a link to your invoice/receipt.
• If you have lost above email, you can retrieve your invoice / receipt by:
  1. Navigate to https://sites.fastspring.com/microsys/order/invoice/.
  2. Add your order ID to the URL, e.g. xxxxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxxx, then refresh browser. You invoice/receipt should now show.
• The invoice / receipt contains company and VAT information at the following places (as of 2017 March):

  • FastSpring company VAT ID (issued by the EU) is at the middle left: EU826012240
• If you are on a subscription product, you can change your details and payment here:
  1. Navigate to https://sites.fastspring.com/microsys/order/invoice/
  2. Add your order ID to the URL, e.g. xxxxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxxx, then refresh browser. You invoice/receipt should now show.
  3. For PDF version add /pdf to the URL.

Remember If you buy using a purchase order you will receive a separate email with a payment link that lists payment options.
