W98-up: Windows 98, Windows Millenium Edition (Windows ME)

x86: Intel CPU compatible 32bit program (can still run on e.g. Windows 64bit versions including Windows 7 64bit)
x64: Intel CPU compatible 64bit program
codepage: Program can some places best show/handle languages related to current Windows language configuration.
unicode: Program can show/handle whatever combination and number of languages.
setup: Usually indicates this is the installer/setup program.
.exe: Executable ready to run on computer with operating system, e.g. Windows.
alpha: Early release (very much so) only meant for testers.
beta: Early release (somewhat at least) only meant for testers.

You can almost always find solutions based on virtual machines, emulation or system libraries:
